TP-OTC: We carry the power of domestic energy offshore

Our Oruç Reis Seismic Research Vessel, which went to Somalia in 2024, successfully completed its first overseas three dimensional data acquisition activities.

To enhance the technical competencies of our Offshore Operations team, we provide continuous professional development for drilling and crane operations through our Offshore Drilling Applications Simulation Centre.

We began activation works for the integration of the Osman Gazi FPU, which entered our inventory in 2023, into the Sakarya Gas Field. Our Floating Production Unit, to be used for the first time in Türkiye, is a strategic step on the road to achieving our national energy targets.

As of June 2024, the operation of our Drilling Vessel Yavuz has been carried out by our TP-OTC Platform Management.

In June 2024, we obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certificates for our Port Operation Activities, continuing our work with services delivered to international standards.

We opened our Filyos Maintenance Centre, where we provide integrated engineering and maintenance solutions for the energy, maritime, aviation and defence sectors. Established to serve domestic and international companies, our facility has the capacity to conduct all processes associated with SPS (Special Periodical Survey) procedures for drilling vessels.

As of November 2024, we began drilling operations in the Black Sea with our Drilling Vessel Abdülhamid Han.

On 20 April 2023, we brought Black Sea gas ashore, and in August 2023 our natural gas was delivered to BOTAŞ and made available for national consumption.

With our strong, fast and efficient operational structure, we work for an energy independent Türkiye.

In August, our 7th-generation drilling vessel Abdülhamid Han commenced its first operation.

We took an important step towards the end-to-end management of exploration and production processes.

With the commissioning of the Kanuni Drilling Vessel, we carried out significant drilling activities in the Türkali and Amasra fields. The drilling operations we successfully completed from Türkali 1 to Türkali 5 and our work at the Amasra 1 well strengthened our offshore presence.

As a TPAO subsidiary, in March 2021 we were structured as a Joint Stock Company.

On 21 August 2020, we discovered natural gas in the Tuna 1 well of the Sakarya Gas Field. The discovery was shared with the public by our President.

We began our activities with our Drilling Fluids service in the deep sea Finike 1 well with the Fatih Drilling Vessel. Within the same year, we reached significant milestones such as establishing our Logging Service and successfully completing the drilling operation at the Karpaz 1 well.

In 2019, we set out to explore and harness Türkiye’s energy potential at sea. Established as a subsidiary of TPAO, TP-OTC was officially registered on 2 April 2019 and we commenced our work at our office in Tuzla, Istanbul.
