Sustainability Policy

TP-OTC has been established to carry out activities such as exploration, drilling, production, transportation, marketing, service, ship and port operations, and refining in order to conduct oil operations and trade both domestically and internationally. While carrying out its activities, the Company adopts sustainable business principles that address economic, environmental, and social factors through a holistic approach, aiming to meet today’s needs while ensuring a livable world for future generations.

While carrying out its activities, the Company pledges to;

• Strengthen the “zero discharge” and “preparedness for accidents” approach in combating environmental pollution, prioritizing the protection of marine ecosystems and the maintenance of biodiversity.

• Develop response plans for potential emergency scenarios, conduct regular drills, manage crisis communication effectively, and continuously improve through technology investments within the scope of emergency and crisis preparedness.

• Identify and manage all risks in business processes, including those arising from climate change, in a proactive manner and in accordance with international risk management frameworks, and continuously carry out improvement activities aimed at reducing social, environmental, and operational risks.

• Measure, monitor, and report greenhouse gas emissions within the scope of carbon management, and support emission reduction practices as well as advancements in low-carbon technologies and energy transition by positioning climate change mitigation among corporate priorities.

• Create a qualified workforce by promoting awareness, training, and development activities in sustainability and related areas by supporting the participation, continuous development, and technical competence of all our employees.

• Support local and national innovation, digitalization, and energy transition in its field of activity.

• Support efforts aimed at sustainably preserving archaeological and historical values for future generations, while safeguarding cultural heritage in all regions where we operate.
