Our Research Vessel Oruç Reis at Filyos Port

Having departed from Filyos Port on 4 October last year, our vessel collected three-dimensional seismic data over a total area of 4,464 km² across three separate offshore blocks in Somalia, successfully completing its 234-day mission as of 6 June.

Following the farewell ceremony held at Mogadishu Port, Oruç Reis set sail for Türkiye on 15 June, transited into the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal and reached Filyos Port on 4 July. Our Research Vessel Oruç Reis was welcomed at Filyos Port with a ceremony attended by our Board Member and General Manager, Cem Erdem, together with the accompanying TP-OTC delegation.

Once the maintenance and repair works at Filyos Port have been completed, Oruç Reis will be prepared for its next assignment.
